HAPPY 2008 & I'm finally in Connecticut!!!

I'm here! I'm here! I'm here! Wish my art supplies were...

They don't get delivered until this Saturday. Neither does my Rav 4! Bummer...I guess that means I'm going to have to drive the minivan and have to learn my way around here. We did purchase a TomTom GPS yesterday so I don't get too incredibly lost.

We are curently living in a rental on the lake. It is fully furnished and absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!! It's like being on vacation for 2 months. And what a vacation it is. My 2 younger sons start school tomorrow (awwww...) and I'll have all this time in this house to do ART!!!

Anyway, as soon as my supplies get here, I'll be arting. Until then...Have a wonderful 2008 and talk to you all real soon!

(An EARLY piece of art made by me! Thought it would be fun to upload this!)

A 2 month vacation at the start of your big move sounds PERFECT! heh heh! Are you house hunting or have you already found something cool?? And if so...do you have a link to the listing? I LOVE looking at stuff like that! :)

And since you already found the Michael's (giggle!), if you start jonesing to art before Saturday you'll know right where to go! Couldn't hurt to pick up some extra stamps, ink pads, paper, brads, gel medium, watercolor paper....I'm such an enabler!

I'm glad you are settling in, my sweet friend. I hope you are feeling comfortable and happy with your new environ. And tell the boys good luck at school on their first day! They are going to make friends right away I am sure!

Good Luck on the move! I just moved from the East coast to pretty close to the West coast and loving the weather here instead of all that snow back in NY! LOL!

Keep Well!

Happy New Year to you, my friend! Sorry I've been so out of it and not keeping in touch. Guess I needed some away time from the blogging world. Going to be taking baby steps this year towards tying to get back into atc's without it taking over my entire life again. Come visit me on my blog - I noticed you have my old blog link...here is my current one:
http://aimeslee.blogspot.com/ . It's called "Aimeslee's Antics", LOL. Fitting, don't you think? Congrats on your move and settling in. You deserved a break and it sure looks like you've gotten one! {{Hugs!}
