Nothing a little art can't cure!

I want to thank everyone who sent or posted a message to me about my brother and the AIDS epidemic. I really felt a need to remind everyone that AIDS does not discriminate; it will take us just as easily as it did my brother and all our loved ones. Please give to your local AIDS foundation.

I did get inspired yesterday to do some creating. My brother was an amazing artist and musician, and sometimes I just feel him near me and everything just flows. These 2 pages are for Dorothy. Her journal colors are blue and brown and she likes birds, flowers and children. She wanted us to try to write a haiku. Mine is there, but it probably should have been placed on the other page. The pages do go side by side; however, I think I missed the boat on this one. Live and learn...

It's a lovely piece and I actually like the haiku being on the preflight side.

Sandee, I took each of those pages and copied them into a 12x6 new image in my PSP editing program, then put them side by side so I could see the whole "flow" of the piece. And, it is stunning, very tranquil and sweet. Don't know what you are talking about, not hittin the mark. You silly, winkwink

Do you have any art of Larry's that you'd be okay with scanning in or photo-ing and showing us? Love to see it!

hugs to my Artful friend!

P.S. - I looked thru my Focus CJ the other day and it was nice to see all the lovely art, looked at yours lately? I've always wondered if you liked the page I did for yours, or if the colors were too bright....silly me, huh, LOL...

I love this--it's just beautiful. The little girl image, with her hands under her chin, is one of my favorites.
